An ion that has a negative charge; forms when valence electrons are added to the outer energy level, giving the ion a stable electron configuration. The force that holdsthe cation to the anion. The electrostatic force that holds oppositely chargedparticles together in an ionic compound. so it has to be false i think from what i am getting at this
