How did the political actions of president Lincoln affect the outcome of slavery?

The political actions changed the outcome of slavery because new laws and rules came and the Emancipation  Proclamation changed the way that slaves were treated.Lincoln did many other things to get slavery banned espesally  in the south. I hope that answers your question.
