If 5x + 2 = 7, what is the value of 15x + 6?

5x + 2 = 7
5x = 7 - 2
5x = 5
x = 5/5
x = 1.....so x = 1

15x + 6 =
15(1) + 6 =
15 + 6 =

If 5x+2=7 then subtract 2 from each side and it is 5x=5 so x=5
15(1)+6=15+6
The answer is 21
