The Supreme Court administered the death penalty to be unconstitutional because it meant nearly all crimes were punishable by death, which was extremely unruly because most things were considered "crimes" if your skin tone was different, which lead to the death penalty for many. Because of this, it had been ruled unconstitutional because that went against equality.
Hope this was correct.
