AHOIYYYY THERE!

Anyone willing to help me, i'd greatly appreciate it?????

I need to write an introductory paragraph. And it must contain the following......

1. A hook (get the readers’ attention with a question, quote, or statement)
2. Several (3-5) sentences
3. Thesis statement (states what the paper would be about (if this was a whole paper)). Do NOT say “This is about…. Or I’m going to tell you…”

TOPICS (CHOOSE 1)
1. Convince a skeptic to read your favorite book or watch your favorite movie.
2. Persuade someone to choose your favorite candy bar over your second favorite.
3. Persuade yourself to start a good habit or stop a bad one.
4. Persuade someone to visit your hometown.
5. Persuade someone to visit a city you want to visit.

Something to start with is a fact! example: if your essay was about child labor you can start with: did you know that 300,00 kids are at risk of child labor?

If you want to persuade someone, try giving information on whatever it is and name the pros and cons!
