To find the slope, use rise over run.

1) The difference between x values is 2. This is the run.
The difference between y values is 8. This is the rise.
    8 over 2, or 8 divided by 2, is 4. The slope is 4.

1) The difference between x values is 26. This is the run.
The difference between y values is 13. This is the rise.
    13 over 26, or 13 divided by 26, is 1/2. The slope is 1/2.

Hope this helps!
