It was the Triborough Bridge which started its construction on 1929. Under the Roosevelt administration, construction of the bridge received large amounts of the New Deal money that was used to keep the workers busy for its seven-year construction period, transformed it into one of the heavily utilized in the world and helped the economy grow all over the nation.
