The policies that have been created causes tension to colonies and Great Britain by restraining and stopping settlers and colonists from engaging in trade with most foreign countries. It leads the colonist to arranged boycotts of goods of the British.

The commercialism system never visualized the community to become self-reliant and self-sustaining.
