The diagonals of a rhombus are 12in.and 16in long.The length of a side of the rhombus in 10in.What is the height of the rhombus?Explain how you found your answer?

Area of rhombus = d1 × d2 
= 12 × 16 = 192 

Area of rhombus is also b × h 

Assuming the side as base, 
192 = b × h 

192 = 10 × h 

h = 192/10 = 19.2 in
